The Pink Granite Coast

The Brittany map Pink Granite Coast (la Côte de Granit Rose) is a exceptional and fantastic coastline, more than 25 km long, like a strip unfolded in the northwest in arc centred on the town of LANNION. It is one of the most interesting sites to visit in the north of Brittany.

From the accommodation in studio for holiday the Pink Granite Coast is located in about 10 km away.

On the path of the customs officers in Ploumanac'h From Beg Léguer, the nearest beach in the west of Lannion (6 km), to the town of Perros-Guirec, by Trébeurden, l'Ile Grande and Trégastel, you can see a big variety of landscapes if you walk on the "chemin des douaniers", a way where the customs officers patrolled in the past (now called GR34 for ramblers). The most famous and exceptional site is in Ploumanac'h where numerous granite rocks have been sculpted in many strange shapes by water, wind and weather (and time !).

Le Trégor

Many other sites worths a visit in this area, known as : le Trégor. Lannion, Tréguier, La Roche-Derrien, Paimpol, Pontrieux ('the little Venice of Trégor') are delightful towns to discover. Don't forget other landscapes where the sea 'meets' the earth : Plougrescant, Loguivy-de-la-mer, Le Yaudet, Locquémeau et la pointe de Séhar ... nor some interesting historic sites like La Roche-Jagu, the castle of Tonquédec or the coastal Abbey of Beauport (Abbaye maritime de Beauport), 5 minutes by car from the port of Paimpol.
